Designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping or pipework, the STIHL TSA 300 Cordless Cut-Off Machine is the first 12-inch (300mm) cut-off machine in STIHL’s AP System.

With its compact, well-balanced design, this cut-off machine is perfect for cutting bricks, concrete, steel and stone. And thanks to the emission-free cordless technology, it’s suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

The STIHL TSA 300 Cordless Cut-Off Machine

Weighing just 6.3 kg, without the battery, the STIHL TSA 300 is very lightweight for a cordless disc cutter. Hardwearing and low maintenance too, it features a 2.5 kW EC motor and 12-inch K-ME abrasive wheel, for cutting steel.

An Energy-Efficient EC Engine

The TSA 300’s EC engine comes with belt drive and enclosed control unit. It runs smoothly, quietly and enjoys a very long service life. Highly energy efficient too, it helps the machine cut quickly and accurately up to 110mm (4.3 inches) deep.

Due to the engine’s low vibration levels, this cut-off machine has a very narrow kerf, allowing you to achieve high-precision cutting, at all times. Despite being less powerful, the TSA 300’s narrow kerf gives it a similar cutting speed to STIHL’s TS 410 Petrol Cut-Off Machine.

Intelligent Electronics Mean Consistent Power

In common with all STIHL battery-powered tools, the TSA 300 utilises intelligent electronics to deliver consistent levels of power. This means that it will deliver optimal performance, regardless of the battery level, until there is no power left in the battery.

A User-Friendly Control Panel

The TSA 300 Cut-Off Machine’s control panel features a crystal-clear, user-friendly design. This includes a large on/ off button and 2 LED lights, which show the disc cutter’s operating speed and an overheating warning sign.

The TSA 300’s Integrated Water Connection

While operating the STIHL TSA 300, you can enjoy a consistent, reliable supply of water flushing the cutting wheel, thanks to its integrated water connection.

This will bind the dust and cool the cut, so your vision remains clear, workspace clean, and machine’s health protected.

Magnesium Cutting Wheel Guard

The cutting wheel guard is built from cast magnesium, so it combines a light weight with strength and durability. This cutting wheel guard will help keep you shielded from any flying debris and cooling water from the cutting wheel.

The STIHL TSA 300’s Fast-Stop Brake

To ensure safe, effective working practice, when you release the TSA 300’s control lever, the cut-off wheel will automatically brake within four seconds. This has the added benefit of ‘recuperation’, whereby the energy gained is fed straight back into the battery to increase its operating time.

An Ergonomically Designed Disc Cutter

An ergonomically designed curved handle allows you to keep a firm but comfortable grip on the cut-off machine, even if you’re cutting very hard stone. This will help you cut both safely and precisely.

The TSA 300’s Magnetic Filter

The STIHL TSA 300 is designed with magnets in the cooling air flow system. These prevent ferromagnetic particles from reaching the internal parts, so the disc cutter will maintain a consistently high level of performance and last for longer.

You’ll find this magnetic filter simple to remove, clean and reinstall, whenever it’s required.

Semi-Automatic Drive Belt Tensioning

The light, consistent re-tensioning of the drive belt ensures both belt and shaft bearings enjoy a longer service life.

If you mount Smart Connector 2A (sold separately) to the STIHL TSA 300 Cordless Cut-Off Machine’s housing, you can link this tool to the STIHL Connected App. This allows you to view important information, such as working time and operating speed, from your smartphone, tablet or STIHL Connected Box, as well as benefit from extra functions.

The STIHL TSA 300 Cordless Cut-Off Machine (Shell Only) does not include the battery or charger.

We advise you to buy a STIHL AP 500 S battery, with a running time of up to 20 minutes, to use with this product.
